Well, there’s some beef brewing in New Jersey!
Snooki and the cast of Jersey Shore attended the reopening of the Jersey Shore hosted by the Today Show, and she got to meet with Governor Chris Christie for the first time and it was a bit awkward.
The two apparently aren’t on the best of terms, since the Snooki & JWoww star went up to the Governor and confronted him about not liking the cast.
As Chris leaned in to talk to her, Snooki yelled out:
“Why are you standing so close to me?”
He responded:
“You asked for my opinion.”
Snooki showed her concern:
“I just wanted to meet you, and just, hope you start to like us.”
She then told the cameras:
“He just doesn’t like us.”
Reportedly Christie has said MTV’s Jersey Shore show brought a bad reputation to the state but a rep for Snooki told E! News:
“The show brought the beloved summer destination a significant amount of revenue during its 6 seasons on MTV. Nicole loves, respects and admires her adopted state of NJ which she now resides in with her family. “
Hmm, hopefully these guys can work things out for the sake of Jersey!
