Not one, but TWO jewelry heists, bizarre red carpet looks and middle fingers? We guess if you leave a bunch of celebrities in one place for long enough, things eventually start to get a little interesting! Cannes, France was packed with some of the world’s most beautiful people as they hit red carpets and partied on yachts, but all good things must come to an end.
The 66th Annual Festival kicked off two Thursdays ago to celebrate some of the most buzzed about films amongst those well-versed in the business, and it has been a continuous stream of red carpets, jewelry heists, designer dresses and celebrities ever since. And after a week of events, here is what you’ve missed as the film festival closed up the final day of its 11-day whirlwind.
Let’s start it off with Tilda Swinton‘s ’80s-inspired pantsuit.
There were some interesting red carpet selections… some inspired by Kanye West’s “Runaway” video…
Others inspired by…spring?…and carnivals…and…Uh…uh…
Forest Whitaker put on a good suit though.
And Orlando Bloom was the charming relief in dark denim.
Uma Thurman served as a movie star should. Flawless.
And Cameron Diaz decided that was enough Cannes as she left in her leopard Vans.
And Mel B took her bodysuit right home.
