It’s official.

The 11-year-old “El Charro de Oro” (Golden Mariachi) is the best thing to happen to the National Anthem since Whitney Houston at Super Bowl XXV

Sebastien De La Cruz’s voice is what you might think a unicorn sounds like. He’s swaggy. And he’s classy. He could easily be a role model for the whole country.

But when he sang the National Anthem at Game 3 of the NBA Finals when Darius Rucker couldn’t show up, the racists came crawling out of their hiding spaces to tweet hate all up and down Twitter.

How did he respond? Like a boss:

And the NBA’s response was even better. The former “America’s Got Talent” contestant was asked to sing again at last night’s Game 4. Obvi he killed it.

And here he is singing it the first time. Along with some golden advice we should all take…

“I knew that one day when I sing that people were going to judge me. That’s why over the time I’ve grown, I’ve learned that you don’t really care what people say about you, it’s what you think about yourself.”

He then brushes his shoulders off. Like, seriously, a la Jay-Z. Now how can you not LOVE this kid?
