The son of Congressman Joe Heck might have gotten his Nevada political father into some trouble.

The 16-year-old, Joey Heck took to his Twitter in the past few months to make racist and sexist remarks, as well as boast about having knowledge of national security.

Back in March, Joey tweeted an offensive statement about gay people:

‘If you’re a guy and you cross your legs and swing your foot… You’re gay.’
In January, he tweeted his thoughts on black people getting arrested, which definitely raised some eyebrows:

‘Watching a black guy get arrested = funniest thing ever.
During a New York Jets football game, he made a pretty racist remark about player Mark Sanchez:

‘[Mark] Sanchez can hop the border faster than he can throw the ball.’
Back in August, he referred to gay people as “fa**ots”:

‘There are gays everywhere. Maybe that’s gods way of thinning out the population because f****ts can’t have babies.’
Joe Heck has responded to his son’s actions, by giving a statement to Buzzfeed that read:

‘I am extremely disappointed in my son’s use of the offensive and inappropriate language on twitter.

‘I apologize to everyone he may have offended. My son also apologizes for his insensitive behavior. My wife and I have addressed this family matter directly with him and he has learned from it.’

These tweets are extremely offensive, and it doesn’t seem to stop there. We hope that someone is able to teach Joey better!
