Sure we know Shay Johnson as Lil’ Scrappy’s side piece on Love & Hip-Hop ATL, but she was in the running for a different man back in the day – Flavor FLAV!
If you haven’t put two and two together yet, Shay was originally “Buckeey” on Flavor of Love and has finally spoken out about the show in an interview with The Jasmine Brand.
Anybody who did recognize her has always wondered if she got it poppin’ with the 54-year-old clock rocking P.I.M.P. We love Flav… but being his woman is an entirely different story.

On her relationship with Flavor Flav:
“It was a show and when I was on the show ‘Flavor Of Love’, I was trying to win the title as the winner. Because we were told during the taping that the longer you’re on the show the more relevant you will be. So we didn’t give a damn about Flav. ‘Flav you’re cool peoples,’ but it wasn’t about that. It was a show and I’m a very competitive person and I was trying to win the title. That’s it. Not him.”
Hmm, we’re not sure if we believe that lol… we remember seeing some extra attention being paid to the man of the hour.
On Scrappy Doing Her Dirty:
The way Scrappy did me, he did find a way to cause a lot of trust issues within me – and that’s on me. So I’m not too quick to jump into relationships at this point. But there is a little somebody that I kinda been seeing but I’m not willing too move fast. You just never know where it will go. I’m not willing to mention his name but there is someone.
On Not Hating Erica:
I don’t hate her. I don’t know her. I don’t choose to know her at all. I think she’s ignorant in certain situations, but that’s just who she is. But I don’t hate her at all – my life goes on.
Well, it sounds like Shay is moving on. Good for her!
