Just over a week after giving birth to her first child with Yeezus himself, Kanye West, Kim Kardashian can’t wait to get her body beach-ready.
The reality TV star is said to be placing a lot of pressure on herself to drop half of her 60 pound weight gain immediately.
According to a source, Kim “wouldn’t stop talking about her body” in her delivery room. “She kept asking her sisters if she looked smaller and skinnier after giving birth.”
Kardashian was scrutinized all throughout her pregnancy for putting on some weight, so it comes as no surprise that the pressure is on to lose it all quickly.
“Kim is obsessed with getting the baby weight off–and fast,” the source told InTouch.
“She really believes she can lose the first 30 pounds in the first month,” a second source claims. “She wants to look good in a bikini by the end of the summer.”
It would appear the jabs about Kimmy K’s weight weren’t only coming from the outside.
“Her sisters were making fun of her because she kept tweeting old bikini pictures of herself,” a friend of Kardashian says. “They told her she needed to relax and enjoy the weight gain.”
The pressure may also be coming from the high expectations Yeezy has for his lady.
“When Kim stack on the weight, Kanye’s vision of her maternity fashion went out the drain,” an insider said. “He’s not happy about how much weight she’s gained–and said it’s her job to get rid of it quickly.”
“She’s terrified she will never get her body back. Everyone has told her not to stress–that it’s about being healthy and having a good mind-set for your baby, not about losing the weight right away. But her family knows that at the end of the day, Kim will do what Kim wants.”
As if that’s not enough, Kim’s come under media fire again. This time for the unique name she and baby daddy Kanye West chose for their baby girl.
While most people are hatin’ on North West’s unconventional name, Kim’s baby brother Rob Kardashian backs the couple’s name choice one hundred percent!
“I told Kim and Kanye this: I’m like, ‘Yo, people are always going to talk, whether it’s good or bad. There’s always going to be the haters, but do what you guys feel,'” he told Ryan Seacrest. “Like, you know everyone’s going to say, ‘Oh, you’re coming up with some weird celebrity crazy name.’ You know how it is.”
“But North West, it sounds cool!” he added. “And North is the highest point, so it has a lot of meaning to it.”
Rob isn’t the only member of the Kardashian Klan who is “pro-North.” Kardashian momager Kris Jenner appeared on The View early this week and revealed that she loves the name:
“I love the name North,” she said. “I’m pro-North, absolutely. The way Kim explained it to me, North means highest power, and north is their highest point together. I thought it was really sweet.”
