The King of the South, T.I., isn’t fond of Twitter, which may have been the root of confusion behind his recently launched Twitter page. Tweeters were excited yet confused about the platinum rappers twitter page, especially after T.I’s wifey Tiny, tweeted that the account was fake.
So who was behind the King of the South’s twitter? Apparently his record label. Atlantic Records launched a twitter page for the rapper as a promotional tool. Although it will not be a personal twitter page for T.i. it will update his follwers of all things T.I.
A label representative told Rap-Up.com that ‘He’s not into Twitter, but it’s what we use to alert people.’ The first and only tweet from the account stated that a big announcement was coming.
Since his prison release in December, the platinum selling rapper has been in the studio working on his seventh studio album.
