Listen to this rap song.

Love the beat and the music. The kid’s flow and lyrics are sick.

It should also be noted that “dark and black” connotes “evil and bad” and we know that this cannot always be true. African-Americans have accepted this stereotype for years. If anything, evil, in many ways comes in the form of “light and goodness” and not the obvious. However, I do not want to take away from this rapper’s point in which he was trying to convey.

Just as I commended Jay Z’s “On To The Next One” video for its artistic style and imagery (though I never covered my point of view on the lyrics), I must commend this MC for conveying some obvious truth in his lyrics.
