Today we take a look at ways we can soundtrack our lives, like Peter Griffith from "Family Guy." Can you imagine the music the world would hear if you were, maybe, searching for something or being chased by a rabid squirrel?

What: Soundtracking

Made By: Schematic Labs

What It Does: We have this habit on Twitter where we tweet what we're listening to wherever we're at, especially at parties and in elevators. We think people would be more into our tweets if they knew we were listening to A Tribe Called Quest while watching a knife fight in Brooklyn. Not that the world needs to know about your every waking movement. Just saying.

Anyhow, this Soundtracking app makes it much easier for us to share what we're listening to wherever we are. Features include: Find and follow your friends who are using the app, sharing song snippets and share your posts with friends on Facebook and followers on Twitter. You can also check into Foursquare when you post a soundtrack with a location.

What: Bing for iPad

Made By: Microsoft

What It Does: Microsoft has ported Bing to the iPad and the results are stunning. The same search principles apply, except the app feels more like a local newspaper than a search tool. There are channels for news, weather, movies, stocks, maps, traffic, business listings, videos and shopping. News is sectioned into standard categories: Top stories, U.S., Sports, World, etc.
