It’s clear that Lady Gaga was the queen of this year’s VMAs. Even though there was no performance from the leading lady (tear!), she went through multiple costume changes and graciously accepted all of her awards. She took home eight awards tonight including Video of the Year, Best Female Video, Best Collaboration, Best Dance Music Video and Best Pop Video.
Take a look at Lady Gaga’s humble and heart warming acceptance speech where she thanked her friends and revealed her new album title, “Born This Way.” She even belted out a short but beautiful solo of her new song while a single tear rolled down her cheek.
She sang, ‘How beautiful in my way cuz God makes no mistakes. I’m on the right track. Baby, I was born this way.’
