How to Handle Rejection
Tip #1: Do Not Call Him More Than Once A Day If At All
Because that starts the cycle. See, once you call, in a perfect world he’ll answer and he’ll talk to you. “Yeah we broke up, I’m hurting, and you’re hurting, it’s so sad. I love you, I love you too.” That’s in a perfect world. In the real world when you call he’s not going to answer the phone and if he does it’s not going to be pleasant. So then that’s going to start the cycle. Then you’ll have to call again, because you’re not being validated the way you thought…the way you were hoping. Now you have to keep calling until you get validation. This turns into…
Tip #2: If You Do Call Him And He Ignores Your Phone Call, Do Not Leave A Psycho Message
Usually what happens is once you make the phone call and he hasn’t answered, or he’s answered and hung up, [or] he’s said something stupid and hung up, you’re going to keep calling, because you should not have even started this in the first place. So now that you’ve started this crap, now you’re on phone call number 17 and by now you’re blurting out obscenities into his answering machine. “F— you! I hate you! You dirty -ick mother——!” You’re just going on, you’re embarrassing yourself at this point.
