Gossip Girl star Blake Lively is looking super glamorous sporting a Chanel jumpsuit on the October UK cover of Marie Claire. It must be good to be Blake, considering the fact that Anna Wintour arranged a meeting for Blake to meet the likes of Karl Lagerfeld and John Galliano after their Paris runway shows.
Meeting Lagerfeld was especially exciting for Blake, “I went to dinner with Karl Lagerfeld and we got to spend a lot of priceless time together. Oh my gosh, riding around in Karl Lagerfeld’s Rolls-Royce with the top down. Insane!” Despite her HUGE fashion friends, Blake remains completely grounded, citing that she doesn’t have very many actor friends, doesn’t “go around collecting people for my BlackBerry,” and she doesn’t Google herself. She even talked about taking on roles that are different from her Gossip Girl character, “I want to take risks, I don’t wanna play it safe.”
The same can be applied to her approach to fashion. Blake is probably one of the few celebs who do not use a stylist and we appreciate her creativity. Click to view more photos from her shoot.
