Wale ended up performing today at the D.C. Pride Festival after all.  After the fall out from the organizers hit an all-time high once Wale allegedly backed out a couple weeks ago after finding out who the performance was for, he decided to go through with it.
The D.C. GLBT community put Wale on blast and called in “homophobic” after he backed out.  But it seems today things were smoothed over when he Tweeted: “I’m cancelling what I was supposed to be doin..to go …yeah ILL BE THERE!! I’m not scared nor do I have any hatred for ANYBODY.”  Interesting.
