>In an interview with Radio 2 in Britain, pop star Katy Perry was quoted saying she was glad that she wasn’t thrust into the spotlight as a teenager. She believes that being introduced to fame at a later age helped her to avoid a lot of the troubles that teen stars often suffer through. Perry said,
‘My first record didn’t take off until I was 23 so I was perhaps in a different headspace to someone who became successful at a younger age. If you’re starting at 14 or 15 your maturity hasn’t fully evolved. I’m not going to say I won’t mess up, because someday I might want to shave my head. I’m lucky because I have a great support system.’
Although Katy was just saying she was thankful that she received success in the music industry at a later age, it got us to thinking. Katy Perry would actually be able to pull off a shaved head. She has a very pretty face, and seems confident enough to rock it.
