Swedish pop sensation Robyn has actually been on our radar for years now. The singer first appeared on the national scene with the dance pop hit ‘Show Me Love,’ which hit number 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1996. After that, Robyn faded into obscurity until 2005 when she released her self-titled fourth album. That album, with it’s unique blend of electro, dance, pop, and hip-hop influences. Songs like ‘Konichiwa Bitches,’ ‘Who’s That Girl?,’ ‘Handle Me,’ and ‘Be Mine’ gained Robyn a rabid following, including such celebs as Britney Spears (who worked with Robyn on ‘Piece of Me’ from her album Blackout ), Pink, Kelis, and Keri Hilson. After a long haitus, during which she appeared on tracks by Royksopp (‘The Girl and the Robot’) and Kleerup (‘With Every Heartbeat’), Robyn is preparing an epic comeback for 2010.
