We knew Bieber fever was a serious condition, but no one was prepared for this! Teen idol Justin Bieber‘s Liverpool, England hotel was mobbed by unruly fans yesterday, causing police to fear a full-blown riot. The police reportedly ordered Bieber to stay away from his balcony for everyone’s personal safety and even threatened to arrest the heartthrob for inciting a riot if he did not comply.

Throughout the ordeal, Bieber continually tweeted: “i cant even say hi to my fans outside cuz of the police. some bull. Trying to work it out so i can say whatup to my fans.” After some negotiation between Beiber’s camp, the hotel and the police, he was able to go out to greet his admirers.

Justin wrote to his fans again via Twitter: “I LOVE YOU GUYS!! that was great! got to say hi to everyone. we are following the rules. lol. #LOVEMYFANS (sic).”
