VIDEOS AND VISUALS: Katy B “Katy On A Mission”

What: After the success of her first single, “On A Mission” in August of last year, singer Katy B has been making a wave in the club scene. The single reached number five on the UK Singles Chart and number one on the UK Indie Chart.

A graduate of The famed BRIT School, where stars like Marsha Ambrosius, Leona Lewis, and The Noisettes, all attended where they studied Performing Arts. This artist mixes it up with a creative collaboration of R&B, Dubstep, Garage, and House with a Hip-Hop flow. Signed to the Rinse Label, this English starlet keeps it funky with electronic beats, bass, and a young spirit. It’s a breath of fresh air to hear lighthearted music from the country across the Pacific, unlike Soul singers Adele and Amy Winehouse. The US needs to get very acquainted with Ms. B, she’s a dope individual.
