Hugh Jackman dusts off his Wolverine character for the sixth time in his latest film The Wolverine, which opens up Friday, July 26th in theaters everywhere.
We got the chance to talk to Hugh about how he approached playing Logan this time around, and his response was very interesting. Check it out!
“This is my sixth time playing this part, I approach this role differently each time. You can’t help it as an actor. You change as a person and change into your interpretation of a role.
There is something, however, that they’re essentially the same, which as an actor you’re looking for the truth in a character. You’re looking to get inside the character, to understand them, even if they have claws and really weird hair. It’s sort of your job is to get inside and tell this story from this truthful place as much as possible and that’s no different from where I started on stage or on screen.”
So for this latest installment of The Wolverine, you can expect to see a different version of our favorite immortal mutant with claws and weird hair.
