L.A.-based sisterly trio HAIM just released the studio version of “The Wire,” a record from their upcoming debut album. The song has been around for a year, but made its debut today on Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 show.

“The Wire” appeared on HAIM’s 2012 Daytrotter session and was featured in a few of the band’s live performances. The track has an ’80s pop feel and a spunky beat, complimented by a catchy chorus.

The sister group is scheduled to perform at Lollapalooza this weekend, and the trio is putting the finishing touches on their debut album Falling.

The album is scheduled to release this fall. HAIM will also be going on tour this fall starting in Chicago.
