Ok, so this is a bit confusing.
In an interview with Democratic Congressman Dennis Kucinich and Fox News’ Greg Palkot, Syrian president Bashar al-Assad finally admitted to harboring chemical weapons.
When asked whether or not he had chemical weapons, he responded:
“It’s not a secret anymore.”
He then went on to say that he would follow the agreement reached between the U.S. and Russia to turn over and destroy the weapons.
But in the same interview he claimed that he was not the culprit in the August sarin attacks against his own people, saying that anyone (as in rebels) could make the poison. He even questioned the authenticity of the YouTube videos, insinuating that they are a “forgery.”
So…who do you believe?
