“I’m beginning to feel like a rap god, rap god!”

Following the first single “Berzerk” off his upcoming MMLP2, Eminem decided to release this track “Rap God,” in which he exclaims that he’s starting to feel like a hip-hop deity. But with time essentially comes progression, and when you were once declared the King of Hip-Hop by Rolling Stone, it only seems logical that you would look up to the heavens for your next level of ascension.

And whatever your criticisms about this track – like Em revisiting subject matter that seems a bit dated – you can’t deny the dope ass lyricism and the fast-paced flow that serves as sufficient evidence that the Detroit emcee is truly whatever he says he is.

But don’t take our word, take his words for it, as we compile a list of the 11 most divine lyrics from Eminem’s “Rap God.”

Check out the list below!

1. “For me to rap like a computer must be in my genes, I gotta laptop in my back pocket.”

2. “Feel my wrath of attack, rappers are having a rough time period, here’s a maxipad.”

3. “Me? I’m a product of Rakim, Lakim Shabazz, Tupac, N.W.A, Cube, hey Doc, Ren, Yella, Eazy, thank you/ They got Slim inspired enough to one day grow up, blow up and be in a position to meet Run DMC and induct them into the motherfuckin’ Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame.”

4. “So you be Thor and I’ll be Odin, you rodent, I’m omnipotent.”

5. “I’m the walking dead, but I’m just a talking head, a zombie floating.”

6. “I gotta keep a few punchlines just in case, cuz even you unsigned rappers are hungry, looking at me like it’s lunchtime.”

7. “You’re pointless as Rapunzel with fucking cornrows.”

8. “I just bought a new ray gun from the future to just come and shoot ya like when Fabolous made Ray J mad/ Cuz Fab said he looked like a fag at Mayweather’s pad, singing to a man while they played piano/ Man, oh man, that was a 24/7 special on the cable channel.”

9. “If I can’t batter the women, how the fuck am I supposed to bake them a cake then?”

10. “It’s a fatal mistake if you think I need to be overseas and take a vacation to trip a broad.”

11. “Be a king? Think not! Why be a king when you can be a God?”
