Rihanna’s bad-gal days may be coming to a close!

The 25-year-old pop star is set to undergo a family-friendly makeover. According to RadarOnline’s sources, DreamWorks Animation CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg is hoping to create an animated franchise set around Rihanna’s life. He hopes the franchise will “globalize and sanitize her image for the widest possible audience.”

“Jeffrey has been tracking Robyn for a couple of years. He is a huge fan and believes the sky’s the limit if she can clean up her act to appeal to a wider audience,” the source claims.

“He sees a huge amount of money to be made there and wants to capitalize before somebody else does. He’s making pop-friendly movies and wants her to be in them. It’s time for Rihanna to go from R-rated to PG-rated. This is Jeffrey’s firm opinion and he’s doing all he can to make it happen.”

The source says DreamWorks big wigs see the same family-friendly potential in RiRi that they saw in Chris Rock.

We’re not sure how smooth the transition from her “Pour It Up” music video performance to a role in an animated series will be, but we’re excited to see it!
