On Thursday, employees of Home Depot decided to have a little fun and get their Twitter on, but ended up pissing off a lot of people in the process.
Yep. Probably not the best idea.
After receiving an immediate response, Home Depot deleted the tweet and apologized oh so eloquently. Which, not surprisingly, was also deleted.
And then cleaned it up with this message that let everyone know the culprits are no longer employed.
We have zero tolerance for anything so stupid and offensive. Deeply sorry. We terminated agency and individual who posted it.
