Turns out the now identified victim of a penis slashing may have been attacked by a gypsy gang after he slept with another man’s girlfriend.
The source of the rumor appears to be a local supermarket employee, who told reporters, “A few of the Asda staff have been talking and apparently it was some gypsy men doing it to another guy after they found out he had slept with one of their girlfriends. I don’t know his name but that seems to be what I have heard.”
The Daily Mail also reports the victim is Kelvin ‘Kelly’ Hewitt, who “often stays at gypsy campsites in Middlesbrough, including Haven Travellers Site, according to his Facebook page.”
Police have yet to name suspects and are reportedly waiting by Hewitt’s bed side to get some answers.

So this happened.
Police in Middlesbrough, U.K. were forced to shut down a 4-lane highway after finding a man with wounds to his groin area and without his…ahem…penis.
The man, 40, was discovered early Thursday morning off the A66 highway, but his member, which police searched for high and low, was not recovered. He was taken to the hospital, where he remains in an induced coma.
Police aren’t giving up, however. A 22-year-old was arrested on suspicion of assault, but later released on bail. The investigation continues.
Welp, that’s a case of road rage we rarely hear about. Here’s hoping for a speedy recovery. No pun intended.
