Sure, the point of having a wedding is to show commitment to your partner as you both become one in holy matrimony in the company of all your closest friends and family. But the KimYe wedding won’t be any ol’ ceremony. Before Kim Kardashian and Kanye West unite for richer and for poorer even richer, there’s really only one thing on our minds: What will the bride-to-be wear?
If we know anything about the #worldsmosttalkedaboutcouple, we can expect their ceremony to be the wedding to end all weddings, and we already know it’s going to be one of the most fabulous fashion fêtes to ever be broadcast on network television–even Vera Wang agrees.
When Kim tied the knot with Kris Humphries back in 2011, the American designer made not one, not two, but three gowns for her. But this time around, we’re expecting to see Kim go European (we’re betting on Balmain, Givenchy, Alaïa, and/or Lanvin–because why settle for just one?), and Wang is weighing in:
“I think it will be a momentous fashion statement,” she told Us Weekly.
But we knew that already, thanks to Kim’s fabulous feature in the American fashion bible, on which Wang had to say:
“I loved the cover. I thought it was beautiful,” she told Us of the Lanvin gown that Kardashian wore on the cover of Vogue. “I think it was a more minimalist Kim.”
Minimalism isn’t exactly her thing though, so we’ll just continue to wait patiently until our invite comes in the mail to find out what Kim will be wearing on her big day later this month.
