Rap newcomer Akeem Mimiko has all the answers when it comes to being cool – just be you.
The Bowie, Md. native is spreading self-love and self-respect on his new track “Be You.” Dedicating the song to the youth, Akeem depicts the importance of embracing who you are by showing a young boy how to navigate through negativity and peer pressure.
“Be You” is off Akeem’s forthcoming Lost Boy EP, which is due out this fall.
