Kendall Jenner‘s latest “woke” Pepsi commercial has the Internet screaming appropriation.

The reality star and model tried her best to make light of the Black Lives Matter movement and it didn’t sit well with most people — including Power 105.1’s Breakfast Club host Charlamagne Tha God. The outspoken personality held nothing back while expressing his outrage over the ad, saying Pepsi should not only be ashamed of itself for orchestrating it, but also for suggesting that a can of soda can solve the problems between African-Americans and cops.

C Tha God told TMZ, “I think it’s extremely tone-deaf. I think it’s making light of something that shouldn’t be made light of. We see all these protest out here about police brutality and people getting beat up at these protests, people get killed at these protests, and it’s gonna take more than just a Pepsi to ease tension between civilians and police officers.”

He added, “I can’t really blame Kendall, even though I feel like she should have people on her team that could advise her better. But there has to be a point in time where you choice morals over money. I don’t expect much from that family anyway. They never seem to have a lot of values and integrity.”

Check out the video above to see what else Charlamagne had to say. What are your thoughts on the controversial commercial?
