What a way to protest!

STORY: Oh No! Senator Rand Paul Popped By TSA

A Portland man identified as 49-year old John E. Brennan has caused quite a bit of disturbance and even laughter when he refused to put on his clothing after being ordered to do so by Transportation Security Administration (TSA).

According to Oregon Live, John committed the act in protest, saying he felt “disrobed as a form of protest against TSA screeners who he felt were harassing him.”

The TSA report read:

“Mr. Brennan’s actions caused two screening lanes to be closed and while some passengers covered their eyes and their children’s eyes and moved away from the screening area, others stepped out of the screening lanes to look, laugh and take photos.”

John was detained and sent to Multnomah County Jail, forcing him to miss his flight to San Jose, California.

While many may find this incident to be humorous, it certainly speaks to a larger issue of whether or not the TSA should be conducting searches on airplane passengers to the extent that they do.
