On September 29th, Prairie View A&M and Grambling State University faced off for the annual State Fair Classic in Dallas, TX. As usual, both sides of the border get together to trash talk, enjoy the Fair, party and find out which team is going to take home the win.
This year, Prairie View A&M was victorious but that didn’t stop both sides from coming together at Crown Royal’s HBCU Love tailgate experience!
The Crown Royal HBCU Love tailgate including tables where fans stuffed purple Crown Royal bags full of goodies for U.S. Veterans benefiting the organization Packages From Home. Participants were treated to custom Crown Royal hoodies in appreciation of their generous spirt. In addition, everyone got to enjoy a silent listening party, a virtual reality experience, and popcorn.
Attendees were also encouraged to show their love for HBCUs by supporting the National Black College Alumni Hall of Fame Foundation.
