Katy Perry is ready to be a mommy!
The pop singer and wife stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show recently to talk to Ellen about her one year wedding anniversary with hubby Russell Brand and her hopes to start a family.

Ellen: Congratulations, one-year anniversary for you and Russell.
Katy: Thank you
Ellen: Do you want to have a family? Is that something that you all talk about, that you want to have children?
Katy: Yeah, I would love to have children. I think that’s one of the reasons you get married. Especially to the person that you marry. You think, that person is going to be a good partner, a good parent. But, I’m not sure it’s yet. We’ll see, ya know.
Ellen: Do you want a lot of kids?
Katy: If it doesn’t hurt the first time. I’ll keep popping them out.
Ellen: It will hurt.
Katy: Ok, well, we’ll see.
Ellen: I’ve heard that it hurts. Word around town is it hurts…
For the past couple of months, Katy’s been touring worldwide for her “California Dreams” Tour, and is making her last stop in L.A. on Wednesday, November 23rd.
Ellen even gave everyone in the audience two free tickets!
Ellen: You are doing a very special thing for your fans…
Katy: It is the 23rd of November. The day before Thanksgiving.
Ellen: You are doing what?
Katy: I am giving thanks to all of my fans. This is my big announcement on Ellen that no one has heard about or knows about. I played a 121 shows up to the (Nov) 23rd date and I want to finish it off by renting out Staples (Center) myself and giving a free concert to anyone in the world that wants to come to the “California Dreams” Tour as my last show.
Ellen: And everyone here, (Ellen holds up two tickets) You are all going.
