When we first got word of the Pharrell Williams’ Bionic Yarn collection for G-Star RAW in February during New York Fashion Week, we were unsure what it would look like. The collection, Raw for the Oceans, was supposed to be an exploration of the denim world in a very environmentally friendly way, using recycled materials from the ocean to create the fabrics.
Well, the collection has finally been revealed and it’s definitely giving off some very earthy and innovative vibes. The line, which is said to have used 10 tons of plastic bottles, features a selection of hats, t-shirts, hoodies, and jeans. Most of the items featured come in an assortment of dark wash blues and blacks. All items also have the Otto the Octopus logo.
The collection has been postponed from its original August release date to September, but start taking note of what you might want to cop just in time for the fall. Check out some of the items in the collection below.
