Last night, millions tuned in to watch the second episode of Stephen Colbert‘s newly-helmed Late Show.

Expectations were high and met, especially when we all witnessed the intriguing relationship between Stephen and Kendrick Lamar carry on from previous show, The Colbert Report. The Compton rapper performed a nearly seven-minute set, compiled from some of your favorite tracks off his critically acclaimed album, To Pimp a Butterfly.

Lamar was backed by artists featured on the album, including Bilal, Thundercat, and Anna Wise, resulting in an exciting performance. Watch Kendrick perform “King Kunta,” “Momma,” and more above, and let us know what you think.
