James Franco is a man of many talents.

Not only is he a Playboy columnist, PhD student, and painter – he’s also a well established director. Denim-based clothing brand 7 For All Mankind first used the 127 Hours actor for their Spring 2012 ad campaign, but they must have liked James so much that they called him back for a second go-round with their Fall/Winter 2012 campaign.

The ad starts off with James filming in a desolate cemetery and ending up at a classic movie theater covered in red paint. The cast is comprised of a group of sexy 20-somethings that happen to include Lily Donaldson and Lou Doillon.

The video also showcases all of 7 For All Mankind’s offerings for the Fall including a few metallics, snakeskin prints and of course, tons of denim.

“The big thing I am trying to access is memory and how we deal with memory, what that means, how we remember people and who creates the lasting images of people. We all have our connections to people who we admire and it’s my own way of examining my own connections,” James says of the clip.
