This 4/20 evening, instead of blazing blunts or spilling bong water on your couch, why not diversify and bake your weed? 

There are six million ways to die but only a handful of delivery methods to get THC into your blood stream. Baking and drinking your way to cloud nine is the healthiest we can think of. So, to help you along, we’ve got a handful of recipes to get you started. They’re as simple as 1, 2, 3 and will get you going where you need to go.

Measurements are precise and we recommend the best ingredients possible. This means no running around the corner to cop a dirty dime bag full of seeds. NO! You deserve the best. If you have the cash and the resources, then buy something with lots of color and read on!

Weed Brownies

Ingredients: Weed, brownie mix, eggs and vegetable oil.

Directions: Add the weed to the oil in a saucepan, cook on medium-low for 30 mins. Follow directions on the box and bake.

Bhang Lassi

This is a traditional drink consumed during holidays in India during Holi in April. The drink is sold on street corners and in Indian government offices throughout India.

Ingredients: 1/2 oz Weed, 2 cups milk, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 tbsp coconut milk, 1 tbsp chopped almonds, 1/8 tbsp powdered ginger, 1 pinch garam masala, 1/2 tsp grenadine, 1 cup water.

Directions: Bring water to a boil in a teapot and add cannabis to it. Brew for about 7 to 10 minutes, then strain. Gradually grind the strained cannabis along with 2 tbsp of milk, repeat this process several times. Strain the milk into another bowl and keep aside. Add a little more milk to the cannabis and grind it along with the almonds, repeat this several times. Remove the cannabis and pour the milk, coconut milk, grenadine and boiled water into a container. Combine ginger, sugar, and garam masala with it, keep stirring. Bhang Lassi is ready to serve.

Pot Butter

Ingredients: Weed stems, weed seeds, butter.

Directions: Check in your couch, check the magazines on your coffee table, CD cases, drawers and your carpet for stems, seed and weed dust. Gather as much as you can and add to a heated skillet with a stick of butter already melted. Add weed products and simmer until brown. After 15-20 minutes, all the THC may have transferred to the butter. Pick out stems and seeds, let sit and spread on toast. Should give you a great buzz. Alternatively, you can add whole buds but we don’t know why you’d wanna do that.

Cannabis Vodka

Ingredients: Weed stems, vodka.

Directions: Place all stockpiled stems in a jar. Pour in your vodka, just enough to fully submerge the stems. Let set in a dark place for about a week then strain. Add orange or cranberry juice for additional flavor. Enjoy.
