Rihanna and Drake were spotted creeping all around Canada this weekend. They were cuddling in the club, bumping and grinding on stage and pretty much making the world believe they are sleeping together.
While I’m not ready to say, ‘hey here is the world’s newest couple,’ I’m also not ready for any more songs about the recreation of that night at Lucky Strike.
But, if Rihanna and Drake are the new “It” couple, I wish they would come out and say it and stop playing games with our minds. It’s time they let us know what’s going on, or stop rubbing it in our face. So I’m officially waiting for Rihanna to tweet, “When Drake is in town I’m DTF, anywhere and any place.”
You see, I’m all for Rihanna’s public displays of affection, celebrity relationships, see-through shirts that show her nipples and even cursing her fans out on twitter. Honestly, that’s what I love most about Rihanna, but I think she should come clean and let us know that her and Drake are either boyfriend and girlfriend or cut buddies. If you don’t know what a cut buddy is, it means you’re in a sexual relationship with someone.
It’s totally okay if they bump uglies while singing offbeat verses to the rhythm of their bodies. We are not going to stop loving the songs they make!
This is what I think is going on with Rihanna and Drake. First, nothing is wrong with being a cut buddy. Nothing is wrong with wanting to keep your cut buddy’s identity to yourself, but stop making out in the clubs and get a room.
We’ve watched Rihanna travel the world with her boyfriends, from Chris Brown to Matt Kemp. We wanted her to find love. So while she’s looking, having a cut buddy could be a good thing, but just announce it. Stop hiding it from the world and let us know. We’re nosy and we are not ashamed to admit it!
So consider this my official plea to Rihanna. Come clean about you and Drake if the two of you are just DTF whenever the other person is around. That’s cool. We know not to holla when he’s around and give that man the respect he deserves. Now, if Rihanna is in a relationship with him, than we’ll drunk dial her, singing the lyrics to Drake’s “Marvin’s Room.”
But until then, I won’t hate unless you make me.
