President Barack Obama is ramping up his Twitter game by conducting the first ever “Twitter Townhall” where the commander and chief will be taking questions from Twitter nation.

STORY: Stop The Bitchin’ And Get To Work!

Obama’s Twitter Townhall will stream live at 2pm EST at askobama.twitter.com andwh.gov/live. This is monumental, not because a President is reaching people across the social network medium, but because young people are the ones responsible for electing Obama in 2008 and after three years we’ve found ourselves in the same boat, but with different water.

Obama and his administration have been accused of turning their backs on the young folk, but his Twitter Townhall is our opportunity to show the President we mean business and explain to him what our generation needs. Our voices will be heard and we must to break it down to the President that we want, need and deserve: jobs, affordable options for education and most importantly, that he thinks about the future generation.
