A couple of months back, Nike announced the release of the “Always On” project, a six-episode video series showcasing a host of Nike athletes who specialize in action sports and highlights their different lifestyles on and off the court.
Each video features an original song from an emerging recording artist with ties to sports, while highlighting the athletes’ diverse stories in all aspects of their daily lives.
The first music video to drop in the series features Adris “2 Hard 2 Guard” Deleon and Quinton “T2” Hosley, with original music from Harlem native rapper Vado.
The song gives you a look at the Dyckman Park street-ball tournament squad practicing what the lyrics preach. The video gives us snapshots of their everyday lives: playing ball, riding the subway and spending quality time with family.
Vado’s inspiration from “Team Nike” was the summer hoops dream team playing at NYC’s Dyckman Park this summer.
All of the videos will be released during the months of July and August, so stay tuned!
