Apple has released images of their new headquarters and it looks like a glimpse into the future!

The technology giant is set to be built their new colossal building on a 98-acre plot of land.

The structure will be a curved glass construction hosting about 13,000 employees and contractors are expected to begin early next year, completing the campus by 2015.

Since unveiling plans for the new company headquarters, Apple CEO Steve Jobs has been busy officially launching iOS 5, iCloud and the new OS X Lion.

Jobs, who is undertaking an indefinite medical leave of absence from his full time roll, pitched the company’s plans for a revamped headquarters to the Cupertino City Council in June.

These new images reveal a spaceship-esque building that will use natural gas and clean energy as its primary power source, boosting the building’s green credentials. Other features include many acres of apricot orchards, a fitness center, an auditorium that seats 1,000 people and underground parking.

Job is proud of his new venture and comments, “I do think we have a shot at building the best office building in the world.”
