Diddy and Shyne have finally buried the hatchet. The 1999 club shooting that landed Diddy and Jennifer Lopez in hot water, also landed then-Bad Boy rapper Shyne in jail for 10 years.
In an exclusive interview with MTV, Shyne revealed:
“As far as Puff is concerned, it’s been a long time coming. He had reached out to me twice when I was in the pen, but I wasn’t ready for it. I called son up, and I don’t want to get in the details of our conversation, but for me the conversation was a confirmation of what I felt. Son kept it super tall, and that’s what it’s about.
When a man saying, as a man, “I made mistakes, and I own that.” What can you do? I feel good about moving on in our relationship. We gonna get to get together in Paris in a couple of weeks, and we gonna sit at the round table and you know break bread. It’s been over 15 years since I’ve known that dude.”

We’re glad Shyne and Diddy are moving forward in their relationship. Their story together hasn’t been an easy one, but we’re happy to see Shyne moving up and onward in his life.
