In a recent interview with CNN’s AJ Hammer to promote a new business venture, the Little Fockers actress couldn’t resist telling Beyonce that selling her firstborn’s pictures was the best decision she could have made.
Jessica shared her experience saying:
‘For our family, we just wanted to control the experience and we put the money that the picture made into a bank account for Honor to do whatever she wanted to do with. It’s her picture, it’s her birth, and we didn’t want it to be a weird thing when we were walking out of the house for the first time.”
The 30-year-old actress sold the first pictures of her daughter Honor Warren to OK Magazine back in 2008. She acknowledges the absurdity of the situation:

“If there’s a price tag on your child – which is bizarre – people will go to crazy lengths, and we wanted to avoid that hysteria.”
Jessica explained how she was friends with the photographer who got the first pictures and said that the money can be given to charity or put in a fund for the child.
Alba then mentions Beyonce saying:
“The biggest thing is having a healthy baby and being happy in your home. I’m sure Beyonce will make the best decision for her family.”
Beyonce gave birth to her first child on January 7th at Lenox Hill Hospital and she hasn’t been seen since.
