Lana Del Rey admits that she’s not a great live performer. However, she sure does do it a lot.
Lana was on the Late Show with David Letterman last night performing her smash first single, “Video Games.”

And considering how disastrous her last time singing in front of a large national TV audience was — the infamous Saturday Night Live performance — this show has to be viewed as a success.

Her voice sounded steady and confident and she didn’t seem to look as uninterested as she looked during her SNL performance.
After she was done, her singing was good enough to get a reaction out of David Letterman.
The late night legend asked her if she could “come back tomorrow?”
“My pleasure,” Del Rey said.
“How about Monday?” Dave said back, while the audience and Lana laughed.
Lana herself must have been happy about the performance because she Tweeted out a link to the video a couple of hours after it aired.
She didn’t do that for her SNL performance.
