No clear winner in Michigan?

Republican presidential hopefuls Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum find themselves in a situation where they have to share their delegates; each being rewarded 15 of Michigan’s 30 delegates.

This may be a little disappointing for Mitt Romney. Considering Romney was born in Michigan and his father was Governor, his campaign had hoped to grab all of the state’s delegates.

Romney also got 41 percent of the vote in Michigan, whereas Santorum only got 38 percent of the vote; however both candidates won 7 districts and equally split the remaining two.

As reported by the Associated Press:

Romney leads the overall race for delegates, with 167. Santorum has 87 delegates, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich has 32 and Texas Rep. Ron Paul has 19.

Santorum may in fact have a chance to catch up with Romney. Either way, we doubt either of the two will stand a chance against the champ, President Barack Obama.
