Harlem emcee Azealia Banks is where the hood and high fashion meet!
The 20–year-old rapper recently debuted the cover art to her upcoming EP 1991 via her Twitter account, and all we can say is WOW!
Banks dons a fierce leather ensemble – sans top – with a long red mane, referencing yet another tag name of the rising star: “Yung Rapunxel.”
After much delay, and with the switching of management teams, the long waited EP of the “212” breakout rapper will finally hit the internet May 29th. Physical copies will hit the shelves on June 12th.
An ecstatic Banks announced the dates via her Twitter account yesterday.
Tracks slated to be featured on the EP are “1991,” “Van Vogue,” “212,” “Liquorice” and Banks’ latest single “Jumanji.”
