Justin Bieber is tatt-tat-tatted up, but it’s all cool as long as it’s in the name of Jesus, right?

Yesterday we reported that the Biebs, who is tatted beyond his 18 years of age, added yet another piece of art to his growing ink collection, an X on his forearm, but we had not the slightest idea what exactly the symbol stood for.

Lo and behold, the tat is another reference to Bieber’s religion and not the X that marks the treasure mark spot in pirate movies.

The X is actually the Greek letter “Chi” — which means Christ. While we haven’t seen the Biebs kneeled down in the pews, it’s safe to say the singer is pretty serious about his religious body ink.

The X joins the Japanese Kanji symbol for music Bieber has on his right arm, the bird on his hip, the Hebrew word for Jesus on his ribcage and an image of Jesus on his left calf … and Bieber’s not done.

“I definitely see myself getting more in the future, slowly but surely. I’m not going to go too crazy right away and get something on my neck or anything like that.”

At least that’s what Biebs told Inquistr

Yes Biebs, neck tattoos are a bit crazy, hear that kids?
