After a lucrative career at the top of just about every list known to man, Katy Perry has finally been bestowed with what some would call the ultimate fashion goal: her first Vogue Magazine cover.
The California girl’s fashion has faced its periods of evolution, from colorful wigs and candy-inspired get-ups, to her current blend of daring and demure.
Katy’s cover features a Vogue setting we’ve seen before: floral gown, a little shoulder and green meadows (yawn), but what’s interesting is that the site used a Nicki Minaj and Justin Bieber song title to release the cover with a Vogue.com title that read “Beauty and the Beat: Katy Perry’s First Vogue Cover.”
Ha!
Katy Perry’s full cover story and spread will be available online on Tuesday, June 18…so we will reserve any further commentary about the cover image until we get a gander at that.
