Uh-oh, Nintendo! The Wii has finally got some competition with the introduction of the Xbox 360 Kinect. Much like Nintendo’s Wii, the Xbox 360 Kinect gets gamers active and all the way involved with their games. However, unlike the Wii, Xbox 360 Kinect recognizes users body motions and facial expressions without the help of a controller. That’s right. Microsoft came and found a way to remove the final barrier of video game systems. Now it’s just you, your friends and your TV. No controller, no cords everything is completely hands-free.  What’s even more impressive is, wait for it, the Xbox 360 Kinect can be controlled simply by speaking to it. Whoa! Welcome to the future.

The Xbox 360 Kinect is an add-on device that can be purchased separately and work with any existing Xbox 360. Alternatively, game enthusiasts can purchase the brand new Xbox 360 4GB console with Kinect for $299. This console and games will go on sale November 2010, just in time for the holiday season.
