Hey guys, it me Kandy, back with another game review.

This time, I was fortunate enough to review DJ Hero for PS3.

Once I got the game home, my brother wasted no time opening the box and popping the batteries into the wireless DJ set.

After a few tutorials by the resident Dj Grandmaster Flash, he decided we were good enough to begin cutting and scratching. With mixes like Jay’s ‘Izzo’ vs Em’s ‘My Name Is’, M.I.A’s ‘Paper Planes’ vs Wale’s ‘Chillin’, I could tell we were in for a real good treat.

You can choose your character, their outfit, their color of Beats by Dre headphones and their turntables. Once you get further in the game you can unlock actual DJ’s like DJ Shadow, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Daft Punk and even fallen Dj AM.

Much like guitar hero and Rockband, this game uses colors to help the players hand-eye coordination, but, Dj Hero uses three colors instead of four (green, red, blue).

The score meter and ‘euphoria’ (known as star power for my guitar hero fans) are the tools that help you keep track of how well you’re doing.

Th dj set is very realistic, turntable and crossfader included. WIth mixes long enough for you to play, you almost forget you’re not an actual dj!

Overall, I give DJ Hero 5 out of 5 grinds, enjoyable for all ages and a great buy for the holidays.

Thats it for this edition, but I’ll see you guys again for the next edition of ‘Kandy’s Review’.
