Ariel Castro, the man behind the Cleveland kidnappings of Amanda Berry, Gina Dejesus and Michelle Knight, has been offered a plea deal for his heinous crimes.
Investigator Tom Meyer has confirmed that a deal has been offered in the case against the 52-year-old. He is said to be considering the deal on Thursday, but nothing has been finalized.
If he accepts, it means Castro would not face the death penalty.
He is facing 977 criminal counts including kidnapping, rape and aggravated murder and if the plea deal is accepted, Castro is expected to appear in court tomorrow morning to formally accept the deal.
