As apart of Toyota’s special green initiative, HBCU’s from all over the country are doing their part in going green. Today we highlight one of TGI’s brightest ambassadors, Daniel A. Crudup.

Hailing from Winston-Salem University, Crudup resolves to solve buildup on his campus by planting recycling bins in highly populated areas. With almost half of our garbage placed in landfills, this helps keep neighborhoods and campuses clean and green.

Crudup, who is currently a senior majoring in Healthcare Management and Business Administration, has also encouraged his friends to go green.

Another clever way Crudup and his pals plan to go green is by printing double-sided handouts, saving tons of paper and energy.

Crudup is graduating in May and plans on attending graduate school for Environmental Health. Find out other creative ways to go green with Crudup by following him on Instagram @mrfourpointohh, and take the pledge with Toyota now!

Who knows, maybe you or a friend will win $10,000!
