Things are not looking good for Justin Bieber!

According to TMZ, authorities are seeking a felony conviction in the pop star’s current egging case. If he is charged with a felony, the Canadian-born singer may be forced to pack his things and head back up north.

Bieber, who is still a Canadian citizen, is living in the United States on an O-1 Work Permit, which Immigration issues to people they find have “extraordinary abilities.” The problem is that what Immigration giveth, they can easily take away.

TMZ reports that according to Immigration laws, if someone with a visa is convicted of a crime of “moral turpitude,” they reserve the right to deem that person “inadmissible” for work in the United States.

So what exactly is covered under “moral turpitude?” Unfortunately for Bieber, any crime involving “malicious destruction of property.”

Uh oh.

The L.A. County Sheriff’s Department is hoping the D.A. will charge the 19-year-old with felony vandalism charges in the case. They claim the egg-hurling incident caused $20 thousand in damages; they’ve also reported that Justin shouted obscenities at his neighbor during the attack.

Felony or not, Justin’s Immigration status in the U.S. could suffer when he reapplies in two years. If Immigration finds he’s guilty of “moral turpitude,” it makes no difference if he was charged with a misdemeanor or a felony.

L.A.P.D aren’t the only ones with something to say about Justin’s bad behavior. Michelle Obama recently dished out a little parenting advice for Bieber’s parents on handling their out of control son.

Let’s just say it’s clear Mrs. Obama doesn’t mess around.

FLOTUS sat down with Univision Radio host Enrique Santo for an interview in which she revealed how she would handle the teen singing sensation in the wake of his legal troubles.

“I would pull him close,” she said.

The mother of two then advised Pattie Mallette and Jeremy Bieber, the pop star’s parents, to take “action.”

“I would be very present in his life right now. And I would be probably with him a good chunk of the time, just there to talk, to figure out what’s going on in his head, to figure out who’s in his life and who’s not, you know?”

“I found that to be the case with my kids,” she said. “They just want you near, you know? They want that advice from a parent. They want to see you on a daily basis, because the thing is he’s still a kid. He’s still growing up. So, I would pull him close.”

Yet another reason to love Michelle.
